Can a podcast be an artifact?
In thinking about potential artifacts, I realized that I created several podcasts for my Intro. to Information Technology course which would work well for Comp A3. It looks like .mp3 files can't currently be attached to reflections. Is that correct and could this be changed?

I've also been trying to figure out a way to add mp3's as an artifact. I was thinking that, even if the system won't allow it as an upload, it might be possible to host the mp3's elsewhere and link to them from our reflections. Any ideas?

I haven't seen a reply here yet, so I wanted to reiterate epjones' sentiments. I felt as though one of my podcasts from IRLS 571 would be the most effective artifact for the A3 comp. Of course, I can post the pod-cast text; however, posting the mp3 would exhibit the work in its intended format and demonstrate actual use of the technology.

You may want to consider uploading your podcast to your u.arizona.edu space and link to it from there. Everyone gets space on UA servers to host their website and/or artifacts like podcasts. If you haven't set up your account yet (most of us did this in 504? I don't remember), there is information here .
